Food Drive
Helping those in Need
In Judaism, giving to the poor is not viewed as a generous, magnanimous act; it is simply an act of justice and righteousness, the performance of a duty, giving the poor their due.
JCMI, along with all synagogues in Collier County are participating in a Food Drive. The food will be distributed by the Naples Senior Center at JFCS for Jewish families in need in the Naples/Marco Island area.
Please fill an empty grocery bag with items such as the following:
- Tuna Canned Chicken Peanut Butter Pasta Soups (some low sodium)
- Mayonnaise Pasta Sauces Canned Vegetables (some low sodium)
- Powdered milk Canned fruit Rice Ketchup Salad dressing
- Oatmeal Macaroni and cheese Ensure Jam/Jelly
